Dear John,
I've never seen Democrats so singularly focused on defeating someone from the moment they assumed office as they are with my friend and U.S. Senate
colleague, Martha McSally.
Democrats labeled Martha their #1 target on the day she joined the Senate, and they've been ramping up their six-figure attacks on her ever since. The
Left is trying to chip away at our red Senate majority, and they think if they can defeat Martha, they can defeat anyone.
This is our chance to prove them wrong and send
a message that Martha McSally is not going anywhere.
Frankly, I get why Democrats want Martha to lose. Like me, Martha's also a combat-veteran who's devoted her career to service over self. And like me,
Martha doesn't pull punches, especially when it comes to supporting our veterans and securing our borders.
Democrats can't handle that.
Martha spent decades in the military, where she was conditioned to tackle problems, not ignore them. In Washington, that's translated to Martha's
relentless efforts to end the Left's gridlock and hold them accountable for their partisan punts.
Martha's the kind of person who refuses to leave a job unfinished. Combine Martha's mentality with her willingness to call out obstructionists, and
it's easy to see why Democrats are so desperate to shut her up and send her packing.
It's also why we've got to do everything we
can to help Martha stand her ground, because we need bold Senate leaders like her to keep the Left in check – especially in critical border
states like Arizona.
John, every day that Democrats delay immigration solutions our crisis at the border grows worse. Nothing would make them happier than turning
Arizona into their next liberal sanctuary state.
Last cycle, Democrats spent over $30 million targeting Arizona, and they're on track to shatter that number this election. Martha's
doing everything she can to battle back the Left's mega-millions, secure our borders, and defend the Senate, but that's a tall order and she can't do
it alone.
So please, join me in supporting Martha
McSally for Senate today.
Sincerely,
Tom Cotton
United States Senator (R-AR)
