California Gun Rights Foundation recently announced the filing of Renna, et al. v. Calif Attorney General Xavier Becerra, et al. – what is sure to be a landmark case with sights set firmly on wrecking California’s odious Handgun Roster and striking it down for good!



The Handgun Roster has long been the bane of California gun owners. It restricts our FREEDOM to CHOOSE what guns we can buy for self-defense. The roster limits our rights to a tiny and sad list of handguns that California politicians (who know nothing about guns) deem “safe” while Americans in neighboring states can choose whichever brand and model they desire.



But now with the filing of Renna v. Becerra, Californians have an unprecedented opportunity to restore our 2nd Amendment rights – if we fight for them!

It also sets the stage for challenging the restrictive laws of other anti-gun states like New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and others.



California lawmakers have trampled on our 2nd amendment rights for far too long, and the Handgun Roster is the crowning achievement of their unfair and immoral plot to ROB you of your rights. This important case would ensure that the Roster goes away and would also end the mandate of AB 2847 which would eliminate THREE guns for every ONE gun added to the Roster!



If we win this legal battle we can stop this insane rule, repeal the Roster, and protect our rights to own whichever handguns we want, even protecting the ability to finish 80% lowers ourselves!

The 9th District Court of appeals also recently affirmed cases decided in favor of 2nd Amendment protections by Judge Benitez. And, of course, now with the addition of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, our chances now look better than ever. It’s a perfect storm for the advancement of freedom!
