Tell the U.S. Census Bureau to investigate data manipulation practices » [link removed]

Friend -- We just learned this week that census workers were told to submit false information. They said they were manipulating the count to look more complete than it actually was to meet count deadlines enforced by the Trump administration.

This is just the latest example of conservatives undermining the census for their own partisan gain.

We need answers from the U.S. Census Bureau about how widespread this practice was before they start releasing data.

Conservatives know that gerrymandered maps are essential to maintaining their power. That's why they have been trying to sabotage the integrity of the census count -- from the Trump administration's attempt to include a citizenship question, to Mitch McConnell's Senate majority refusing to pass additional funding for the census during a pandemic.

States will receive 2020 Census data soon to redraw maps next year. We have to make sure the data is accurate.

The consequences of a manipulated count would be felt for the next decade. We need to know now if this falsified census data is an isolated incident or widespread manipulation.

Tell the U.S. Census Bureau to investigate and reveal all data manipulation practices to the census count before they start releasing data for redistricting.
