We did it! Following public pressure from democracy advocates across the country, Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, the law firm leading the Trump campaign’s efforts to challenge the presidential election results in Pennsylvania, has just withdrawn from its federal lawsuit. Meanwhile, the legal firm of Jones Day has said it will not take on any additional litigation on behalf of the Trump campaign.

These are major blows to Trump’s attempts to delegitimize the results of the 2020 election and undermine our democracy. But there’s still work to be done. Until every vote is counted and the results certified, we must continue to put pressure on Jones Day to drop their baseless case against mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania.

We will keep fighting to protect the vote and to ensure that President-Elect Biden makes a peaceful transition to the White House.
