Hello —
In the middle of a pandemic, we need affordable health care more than ever before. But this week, the Supreme Court began hearing oral arguments for a case considering the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Let's be clear: this is Donald Trump's latest and final attempt to dismantle the law. If he's successful, it will leave millions of hard-working Americans without affordable care. But we don't have to wait to see what happens. We can strengthen the ACA right now and save health care coverage for millions.
Over a year ago, the House passed legislation to lower health insurance premiums and strengthen protections for people with pre-existing conditions. This bill has been sitting on McConnell's desk for months. It's time the Senate brings this critical legislation to a vote.
Friend, will you join me in demanding the Senate protect the ACA? We need to show there's a strong grassroots movement ready to fight to ensure everyone has access to affordable care.

I am committed to working with anyone, anywhere, anytime, regardless of party, to make our health care system better. But I cannot support any effort that covers fewer people and costs people more. The Trump administration's lawsuit against the ACA would do just that.
Folks in D.C. should be working to make people's lives better – not sabotaging the American health care system. Now that we've elected President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris, we can strengthen the ACA and make our health care system work for the people.
The ACA provides protections for countless people in the Evergreen State. I won't let Trump's legacy be ripping those protections away from the people who need it most.
We have to fight back with everything we've got. Please add your name now to call on the Senate to do what's right for the American people and protect affordable care.
