More and more people are done with Trump’s circus, John. But there are still a few people left in his clown car.
Two legal firms are making millions of dollars filing Trump’s baseless lawsuits to salve his wounded ego. Every legal challenge Trump has attempted has failed – 12 losses in a row – because there are no facts to back up his claims. Even Republican leaders are openly declaring that sowing discord is part of a plan to raise money.
Trump’s lawyers have been asked to present evidence in court, but they have none. Their arguments have been called "inadmissible" and "hearsay." It's not just embarrassing, John, it violates the ethics they swore to uphold.
The lawyers bringing these claims to trial are breaking the rules of the American Bar Association, which stipulate that a lawyer cannot argue a case unless there’s a basis in law and fact for doing so that is not frivolous.1
These men must be held accountable for making a mockery of our court system, breaking the rules, and undermining the will of the people who voted decisively for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
The fact of the matter is: Donald Trump has no case, and this legal circus will only confirm the will of the people. Trump’s attempts to obstruct the transition process shows his desperation to hold onto power. We’re ready to move forward together to deliver a better future for our families.
Biden ran and won a campaign to earn our votes. Trump ran and lost a campaign to keep us from voting. He is even trying to throw out votes that have been counted. The lawyers helping him must be stopped.
The American people have had enough of Trump’s circus. We are ready for a better tomorrow.
