John Bolton
is gone but the advocates for war against Iran have been dominating
the mass media in recent days.
Trump announced that the United States was "locked and loaded" for
a potential war against Iran.?
Make no mistake about it, a U.S. military strike against Iran will
initiate a regional war and create mass suffering and chaos in the
region and around the world.
The ANSWER Coalition is part of the upcoming "People's Mobilization
to Stop the U.S. War Machine and Save the Planet", which is holding a
demonstration in New York City near the United Nations on Sunday,
September 22 starting at 2:00 p.m.?
Both the Trump White House and the Democratic Party leadership in
Congress are allies in the ongoing U.S. global war drive that
threatens not only Iran but Venezuela and other countries and peoples
who seek independence and self-determination.?
In addition, the demonstration Sunday will also demand that the
United States sign the nuclear weapons ban treaty, rejoin the Iran
nuclear agreement and Paris climate treaty, disband NATO and close
bases and outposts around the world.
If you can't join us in New York but would like to make a donation
to help pay for the transportation costs of those traveling to NYC,
you can make an urgently-needed
donation.?

Representatives of 120 nations met in July to reaffirm their
support for the UN Charter in a revival of the Non-Aligned Movement.
Some of those representatives plus grassroots groups will join us for
a discussion of the ways the United States is violating the charter,
how they are organizing and what we can do to hold the US
accountable.
