Thank you for the work you do every day to ensure that actions taken at the state and federal level center the needs of the families who are most deeply impacted by the COVID-19 health and financial crisis. Here are a few events and resources to support you in your work:


** Featured Events:

* Friday, November 20th, 2:30 PM ET – 2020 Election's Impact on Medicaid ([link removed]) . In this webinar, Families USA will discuss how advocates can advance our collective Medicaid agenda in 2021. This event will feature a panel of experts, including Cindy Mann, Partner, Manatt Health, who will cover the election results, the current threats and opportunities to the Medicaid program, and opportunities for advocacy.


** Families USA Health Action 2021:

We are going virtual! Mark your calendars from January 26-28, 2021 for Families USA’s 26^th annual Health Action Conference: Power. Impact. Now. Registration for our nationally renowned conference will open in December. In the meantime, you can check out highlights from last year’s conference ([link removed]) .
We are now accepting scholarship applications for needs-based registration scholarships. Please submit your scholarship application ([link removed]) by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 27. Applicants will be notified of decisions during the first week of December.

* From NORC at the University of Chicago: COVID-19’s Impact on Medicaid Enrollees’ Social Determinants of Health ([link removed]) . This issue brief discusses how Medicaid MCOs are addressing the social determinants of health and health inequities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
