In 2018, Stacey Abrams ran for governor of Georgia, and narrowly lost because of voter suppression across the state, including mismanagement, irregularities, and unbelievably long lines.
Since then, Stacey has fought to change that and ensure voting is free and fair for everyone in Georgia and across the country by founding Fair Fight , a group that promotes fair elections, encourages voter participation, educates voters about their rights, and advocates for election reform.
We’ve already seen the impact that Fair Fight has had in getting out the vote and fighting voter suppression in Georgia since 2018, with the Peach state becoming a key swing state in the 2020 presidential election and seeing historic levels of voter turnout this November.
