On the Front Line of Climate Justice: Evolving a Collective Path

The Nonprofit Quarterly’s fall 2020 issue is our first ever edition focused on climate/environmental justice from Indigenous perspectives. Guest edited by Raymond Foxworth, vice president of grantmaking for the First Nations Development Institute, the feature articles examine Native climate and environmental justice struggles, challenge dominant narratives, policies, and practices that exclude or minimize Native peoples in the environmental justice space, discuss Indigenous frameworks and worldviews for advancing environmental justice, and outline ways that philanthropy can and should support Native endeavors.
