Friend, let me say it again—we fought our hearts out on this campaign, and we built a grassroots team unlike any seen before. And while we might not have taken Mitch’s seat away, the fight to take his power away isn’t over—not by a long shot.

Two Senate runoffs in Georgia in January will determine who’s in the majority—that’s why I’m mobilizing the grassroots team we built together under the umbrella of a new organization, Democratic Majority Action.

Our first mission is to continue to direct much-needed resources to Georgia—chip in what you can right now and all proceeds will go directly toward the work to elect Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock on January 5th.

We can win these runoffs—and we must. We’ve seen the damage Mitch can do with a Senate majority. We’ve seen him slow-walk COVID-19 relief and rush through hyperpartisan judges into lifetime appointments to the federal courts. We’ve seen him try time and again to take away millions of people’s health coverage. And we know that he’ll have no qualms about obstructing President-elect Biden’s administration in every way he can.

It won’t be easy, but don’t let anyone tell you that winning these runoffs is impossible. Thanks to critical organizing on the ground, Georgians turned out in record numbers to elect Joe Biden. Now, let’s throw our full weight behind those grassroots organizers who are doing this work.

If we win both seats on January 5th, we can get our government back to work for the people, not special interests and partisan agendas. And at times like this, that matters.
