2020 has seen us launch our party’s first-ever Virtual Weekends of Action, with dedicated volunteers reaching out to hundreds of thousands of Canadians all across the country about our progress. We’re moving forward with our new nominations process,
so that we can continue to elect even more talented, diverse, and hardworking community leaders as new Liberal MPs. We also held our first-ever Virtual Grassroots Fundraiser with Justin Trudeau to answer questions from across the country about the important work ahead of us to keep Canada moving forward – and there will be more to come. And of course, we’re focused on reaching crucial grassroots fundraising deadlines that help to ensure our hardworking volunteers and organizers have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
And our government’s progress for Canadians isn’t slowing down either – with recent steps including a ban on harmful single-use plastics by 2021 to help protect a clean environment, investing in rapid new affordable housing, new legislation to criminalize anti-LGBTQ2 conversion therapy, launching the new Universal Broadband Fund, and so much more. Friend, none of the progress we’re making would be possible without your support.
