By now you’ve heard the amazing news about Georgia: thanks to on-the-ground organizers in the state, Georgia is on its way to going blue for the Presidential election for the first time since 1992. That’s incredible, but we can’t stop there.

In just a few months Georgia will have two special elections that will determine who controls the U.S. Senate. If we flip both seats, future Vice President Kamala Harris will be the tie-breaking vote in a 50-50 split chamber. That means that Mitch McConnell and the Republicans won’t be able to hold progress hostage during the critical first few years of Joe Biden’s term.

Needless to say, all eyes are on Georgia.

With a Blue Senate, Democrats will finally be able to course-correct our country after four long years of Trump and his Republican enablers controlling the agenda. As an added bonus we’ll say goodbye to Sens. Perdue and Loeffler -- who are currently mounting a last-ditch, bad-faith effort to cast doubt on Georgia’s election results.
