Dear John,

Today is World Kindness Day. It’s a global celebration that promotes the importance of being kind to one another, to ourselves, and to the world.

John, being kind is not always as easy as it sounds. But this year you made it look easy.

Watch this heartwarming video and meet some of the people you’ve been helping with your generosity. Thank you for your kindness in an incredibly difficult year.


Your generosity has been a lifeline for children and families, many of whom never thought they’d be facing hunger. And while this crisis is far from over, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the meals not missed and the kids who didn't go hungry — in part because of you.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you’ve done for the kids who need you.
