John,
As an IRC supporter, you’ve seen how asylum seekers and refugees have suffered under the Trump administration's policies. You also know how important it is for all of us to stand up for what's right.
This is a new chapter — and with your support, we have a real opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Our teams here at the IRC are ready to partner with the new administration to rebuild and expand U.S. refugee resettlement and repair the broken asylum and immigration system in this country. We can successfully undo damage from the last four years, but we need your help. Will you make an urgent gift today?
John: Donate now to help us reunite separated families and provide other critical assistance to refugees and asylum seekers, as well as continue our lifesaving programs worldwide. »
The Biden administration has made bold commitments to welcome 125,000 refugees each year, provide protection and fairness to asylum seekers, and work on repairing the damage of the last four years of U.S. policies — both at home and abroad.
But they can't make the difference alone. We all have a role in ensuring the world's most vulnerable are protected. Make an urgent gift now.

Your support could, for example, help us reunite refugee families who had been separated under the Trump administration's policies, like this Congolese family.
Nadine was safe in the U.S. with her husband and son, but the rest of her family was stuck in limbo after the Trump administration slashed the number of refugees allowed into the country.
This family, like so many other refugees, had already been through so much. They fled violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo and lived for years in a refugee camp in Burundi before being approved for resettlement in the U.S.
With the support of compassionate people like you, they were finally reunited last year. At the airport as Nadine awaited the arrival of her mother and siblings, she told my team, "I can't describe the feelings I will express when I see them. But you can imagine, these people are my family."
While the wait is over for this family, there are so many others who are still separated and in need of your support.
Your gift today could help us reunite separated families and provide other critical assistance to refugees and asylum seekers, as well as continue lifesaving programs in crisis zones around the world. »
Thank you so much for all that you do for families affected by humanitarian crises. We are so grateful to have you by our side.
Thank you,
