** Stand UP Together SA: Wear the T-shirt that shows you stand up in solidarity and in support of charities combating Gender Based Violence
------------------------------------------------------------

** November 2020 · For Immediate Release
------------------------------------------------------------

** #StrongerTogether #UnitedAgainstGBV #StandUp
------------------------------------------------------------

As a result of COVID, charities and brands are under enormous pressure, whilst people utilize online shopping more and more. Kindred is placed in a perfect storm of trends to help everyone - whilst giving back to those that care the most. We have kindness at our core and that kindness shines through in everything we do.

We would like the opportunity to introduce you to our “Stand Up” T-shirt campaign to assist in generating funds for charities that combat Gender Based Violence.

With 16 days of Activism beginning on the 25th of November and running till Human Rights Day on the 10th of December, it is a good time to raise awareness around GBV and violence in SA.

Our campaign gives everyone the opportunity to be heard by posting a picture, wearing our rainbow T-shirt on social media, anyone can “Stand Up” and have their say, while promoting and supporting organizations that make a difference. We deliver to your door, anywhere in SA, thus giving everyone the opportunity to show their support, while still adhering to COVID protocols.

Stand up against violence in SA.
Stand up against GBV.
Stand up together.
Stand up for one another.
Stand up for human rights.
Stand up....

Let the world know what you “Stand Up” for?

The tag line #StandUp is a call to action for everyone to make their voices heard to stop violence against women, children and the LGBTQ community.

The choice of the Rainbow design on the T- shirt depicts a sign of hope and a promise of better times to come. This is what the rainbow stands for in many different cultures. The Rainbow also represents inclusivity.

All proceeds from the T-shirt sales will go to SAWFB, SONKE Gender Justice, Tears and the Rape Crisis Cape Town Trust.

The T-shirts are produced locally to help sustain the ailing economy and ensure the production of a high-quality product.

Priced at only R189 for adults and R159 for children, excluding delivery, with all proceeds going to GBV charities.

Order yours today at www.standuptogethersa.com to show your support.

Be Kind. Be Stronger. Be Kindred.

** Comment from SAWFB
------------------------------------------------------------

SA Women Fight Back are proud to be standing alongside Kindred in their fight against Gender-Based Violence. For too long victims of GBV have remained silent, and it is time to break the silence. We cannot fight this alone and we need to Stand Up as a nation and say that Enough is Enough. Let us turn our words into actions and Stand Up against GBV.
— Bronwyn Litkie
