Inslee

Friend,

If the race for president these past few weeks proved one thing, it's that our movement made a huge impact. Climate is finally moving to the front and center in this primary.

We have so much to be proud of. Seriously: Check out a few of the recent headlines and stories about the impact of our climate movement -- but first, we're not done fighting for the climate. Chip in $5 or more to support Jay's re-election and his commitment to fighting climate change.

I hope you're as proud as I am about the progress we've seen from candidates -- and the thanks they've been showing Jay for setting the standard and leading the way on climate.

Democratic presidential candidates thank Gov. Jay Inslee for his climate change-themed campaign | ABC News
Perhaps most notable among these candidates was the constant mention of the former "Climate Candidate" himself, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee. Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro, Senator Kamala Harris D-Calif., Sen. Amy Klobuchar D-Minn., and Sen. Elizabeth Warren D-Mass. all gave Inslee shout outs.

The Energy 202: Jay Inslee is out of the 2020 race. But his presence remains. | Washington Post
Jay Inslee had a great night during CNN's climate forum. Even though he wasn't there.

During the network's seven whole hours of discussion of climate change Wednesday evening, at least four Democratic candidates for president glowingly name-checked the Washington governor, who last month dropped out of the race.

Winner: Jay Inslee

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee built his presidential campaign around the urgency of combating climate change. Although he wasn't onstage Wednesday night -- he dropped out of the race in August after putting out more than 200 pages of climate change policy, all of it ambitious and detailed -- his influence was everywhere.

Make no mistake: Our power, the power of our climate movement, it's because of all of us. This is happening because of the work we did together. But our work isn't close to being finished. There's plenty more to do, and Jay's running for re-election in Washington to keep leading the way on climate action.

You can join the fight and help Jay continue to lead on climate action and many other progressive issues: Donate $5 or more today to support Jay's fight to keep climate change at the forefront of his 2020 reelection and the 2020 presidential election.

Thanks,

Jamal Raad
