Friend--

Thank you to all who testified at our virtual public hearings to Repeal HB6. Our message is coming through, loud and clear.

The election might be over, but our fight to repeal HB6 is not.

Five federal indictments, two guilty pleas and three fired senior executives at FirstEnergy are more than enough proof that HB 6 needs to go.

Without continuous citizen pressure this scandal may be forgotten. Can we count on you to make a $15 contribution today?

Your contribution keeps the pressure on.

Without legislative or legal action, a new 85-cent fee will be added to every electricity bill in the state. The fees will direct over $150 million a year to FirstEnergy, through 2026.

It's satisfying to see that someone at FirstEnergy is being held accountable, but why haven't they been forced to testify in front of the state legislature?

It doesn't need to be this difficult.

Repeal the entire bill and then decide what parts — if any — to send through the legislative process again.

Some are not waiting around for the legislature to act. On October 27, Cincinnati & Columbus officials took legal action on behalf of all Ohioans by filing a lawsuit to block the $150 million in annual fees created by House Bill 6.

More cities are considering joining in the lawsuit.

We need more government and corporate accountability, not less.

We clearly have a lot of work to do, and there are so many ways we can win. Please chip in $15 or more to keep up the fight.

Thank you,
