John, we've hit a snag.
Here's the situation: Earlier this year, in response to outrage over rampant, viral misinformation on Facebook — much of it political in nature — the company decided to ban any placement of new ads a week before Election Day.
Here's the problem: Facebook has decided to extend this ban for at least another month — which means our plans to start serving digital ads to voters in Georgia in support of WFP-endorsed Raphael Warnock ahead of the runoff in January are on hold — for now.
Here's the plan: Our team has faced challenges like this before, so we're starting to explore lots of other options. But what's already clear is that we're going to need to double down on digital organizing and organizing on the ground to get out the vote.
We can meet this moment — we just need the resources to do it. Rush a donation to our Georgia Runoff GOTV fund so we can elect Raphael Warnock and flip the Senate next year.

Yesterday, we shared an incredible number with you: In just one night, WFP organizers and volunteers texted over 700,000 voters in Georgia!
We'll be hosting a lot more of these text "parties," in addition to ramping up phone banks that make it easy for anyone to get out the vote for Raphael Warnock from the comfort of home.
In other words, we can fight on without Facebook.
But as traffic on our digital organizing tools ramps up, so does the cost. And with the COVID-19 pandemic surging again across the country, we'll have to monitor what we're able to do safely on the ground in Georgia.
So will you rush a donation to our Georgia Runoff GOTV fund to ensure we have the resources to meet every challenge that comes our way? Control of the Senate is on the line and we're not stopping now.
We defeated Trump. We can defeat Kelly Loeffler and Mitch McConnell's grip on the Senate majority, too.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
