State Senator Don Huffines
Dallas YR is excited to announce that our special guest speaker for our meeting next Monday, September 23rd, will be former State Senator Don Huffines.
Beginning in 2014, Sen. Huffines represented Texas Senate District 16, covering northern Dallas County. He served in two legislative sessions and is most known for authoring legislation that resulted in uncovering the largest government corruption scandal in Texas history. Senator Huffines will be diving into a number of interesting subjects with us, including his analysis of the election results in Dallas County in 2018, an overview of the Texas Legislature and some stories of his time in the state Senate, and insights into the most effective ways for young Republicans in Dallas County to get involved in the political process.

PLEASE NOTE THE VENUE CHANGE FOR THIS MEETING.

The meeting will be held at the Dallas County Republican Party Headquarters. There will be plenty of parking available, and parking is free. DCRP HQ is located at the Southwest corner of Forest Lane and 75. It's located in the same center as Office Depot and Asian Mint, directly above Touchstone Imaging. The suite number is 240. We will be providing food and beverages.
