Florida passes $15 minimum wage—a major victory in the fight for fair wages

Last week, Florida became the ninth state to pass a $15 minimum wage, through a ballot initiative. The Raise the Wage Act, which would establish a $15 minimum wage nationwide, has been stalled in the Senate since July 2019, with the White House indicating that President Trump would veto the bill. Will the Raise the Wage Act fare better under the Biden administration?
