Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the presidential election with the most
votes of any presidential ticket in our country’s history.

But in the days since we won this resounding victory, we’ve heard a lot of
talk from Republicans about “unity.” We’ve heard it from the same people
who just one week ago were hell-bent on enacting Donald Trump’s
dangerously right-wing agenda and enabling his every authoritarian impulse
— compromise be damned.

In their minds, “unity” is code for Democrats disregarding their
principles and the 77 million Americans who voted for change.

Yvette had a perfect response to this kind of doublespeak after the race
was called on ABC News on Saturday.

Now, her appearance has gone viral online. It has over 2.4 million views
on Twitter, and everyone from Rep. Rashida Tlaib and Rep. Ayanna Pressley
to Seth Rogen, Common, and Jon Favreau (from Pod Save America) have shared
it.
