McDonald's to Debut Meatless "McPlant" Line
CAMPAIGN VICTORY: After years of campaigning supported by multiple organizations and hundreds of thousands of supporters like you, McDonald’s has finally responded to Animal Outlook’s calls for plant-based options.
The fast-food giant just announced that it is developing its own meatless “McPlant” line. The line will be tested in select markets early next year. When referring to the McPlant burger, a McDonald’s exec said in a press release that “when customers are ready for it, it will be ready for them.” Join us in telling McDonald’s that we have been ready for a plant-based menu option and that we cannot wait for a nationwide rollout with a quick comment on its social media.
