Celebrate #GivingTuesday with First Star!
Despite the challenges of 2020, First Star has been working to help bring the necessary resources to our students as they brave this ever-changing digital world. Through their perseverance and hard work, 100% of our seniors graduated from high school this past spring! That is something to CELEBRATE.

Due to the health crisis, our students are facing a lack of basic needs, learning loss, and disengagement. Our Academy Directors have been able to meet our scholars where they are, reaching out for one-on-one sessions, tutoring, and social media interaction, in addition to their normal monthly Saturday sessions. But, we know the workload needed to maintain academic programming, while meeting the needs of our students will continue to be great as we head into 2021.

Your continued support is needed now more than ever.
