Hi John,

We're just a few days away from the largest climate mobilisation in history. We're demanding action, we're demanding change, we're demanding a future that doesn't buckle under dirty fossil fuels, big business and political moves.

We - students.
We - workers.
We - parents, teachers, actors and firefighters.

This Friday the 20th of September people will be taking a message to towns and cities across the world: we need action from world leaders to stop the climate crisis.

Will you share this video as widely as you can, we need to make sure as many people as we can are moved to take part and bring about change for our planet.

In my two years at Greenpeace UK I've learnt a lot - but the last two months have truly opened my eyes. Working with students who are organising themselves to shape their future with passion, respect and belief will do that to you - they've given me hope that we can overcome the climate crisis.

They have rallied together and now are asking people of all ages to do the same, by joining them on the Global Climate Strike this Friday. It's happening all around the world, and probably in a city or town not too far from you.

We've put together a video that comes from people who want to see climate action. The unity across ages, ethnicity and backgrounds represents the change we need to see. A movement of all people united to stop the climate crisis before it's too late.

Young people have been striking from school and now they are calling on everyone to join them to deliver a clear message of the urgent need for bold and ambitious climate action. It is evidently clear, there is no longer time to wait, the moment for action is now.

Let's join them and make the Friday the 20th of September as big as it possibly can be.
