Friends,

On this and every day we honor those who have served, and hope you’re spending time checking in with each other and recommitting — as a movement and as a nation — to ensuring veterans everywhere have their needs met and receive the benefits they earned and deserve.

This Veterans Day, specifically, we hope you’ll join us in our mission to reestablish respect for our veterans across the country following four years of attacks from the current administration and Commander-in-Chief. From attacking POWs, to calling those who served “suckers and losers,” to firing members of our forces who simply dared to do their jobs, stand up, and tell the truth, Trump and his shameful administration have shown a deep-seated disrespect for our veterans like we’ve never seen before.

This team, more than most, knows that the service and sacrifice of the millions who have put themselves in harm’s way to defend our democracy extends far beyond their politics or who they vote for at the ballot box. And now, more than ever, we need to show our gratitude to all those who have served.

To our Veterans — thank you. As the largest organization of progressive veterans advocating for veterans, know that we will never stop fighting for you the way you bravely stood up and fought for all of us. Happy Veterans Day.
