We did it, team. The official results have been reported and thanks to your support, I’ll be serving as Vermont’s At-Large Representative for another term!

I am humbled by this group, who showed up for their fellow Vermonters in record numbers during this pandemic. I can’t thank you enough for making your voice heard in this election, and I can’t wait to keep representing our shared values in Washington in 2021.

And President Trump lost. He is lying to try to retain power, but it will fail. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be sworn in on January 20th, and we can begin to repair the damage done over the past four years.

A Biden presidency will bring with it a new era—one where decency, truth, respect, science, civility, and progress for our shared values is back on the agenda.

Voters sent a clear message, calling for major changes, like respecting democratic norms, expanding affordable healthcare, protections for working families, a greener economy, and challenging inequality and racism at every turn.

I’m ready to make that happen alongside my returning colleagues (like Karen Bass) and newly-elected allies (like Ritchie Torres), and many more. I’m so excited about this next Congress. We’ve got this.
