My friend,

On Friday, I returned from a 6-day trade mission to Japan and South Korea. The message I delivered throughout the trip was straightforward: At a time of uncertainty, I’m committed to keeping Minnesota competitive in the global economy.

I’m proud to report that our message was well received. Japan and South Korea are looking for stable trade partners who share their values. And over and over again we heard that our commitment to sustainability, community prosperity, and corporate social responsibility aligns incredibly well with their aspirations.

Minnesota is home to more than 35 Japanese-based companies. These trade relationships are vital to our economy, and that’s why my goal was to make it clear that if Washington won’t lead, Minnesota will.

As we approach 2020, it’s never been more important for us to elect partners who will help us strengthen and stabilize our economic relationships, not tear them down.

My campaign is working hard everyday to channel the energy of our One Minnesota movement and get the job done, but they can’t keep it up without you. So with our end-of-quarter deadline approaching at the end of the month, I’m reaching out personally to ask:

Will you make a contribution of $5 or more to help us reach our $30,000 grassroots goal by September 30th?
