Hey, can I be vulnerable with you for a moment? On Saturday evening, after it was clear that voters had decided and the election was over, I sat in bed and cried joyful tears. I released all of the grief, exhaustion, and rage I’ve been feeling for the last four years. It just felt so good to see the power of people using their voices.

At times these last four years, it’s felt like rolling a boulder up a hill. Getting to the top of that hill isn't just about one voice, one group, one community, though -- it’s all of us fighting together.

Folks like you showed up and fought back every single day. And you voted for a fairer, more equitable future for all. Thank you, truly , for all your hard work.

Listen, I know that together we’re greater than any problems we face. I believe that we can achieve the Founders’ promises of a free and fair democracy, as well as create an economic system that actually works for all people.

We’ve almost got the boulder to the top of the hill.

So stay tuned for more ways to take action with PeopleGreater to push President-elect Biden and his new administration to ensure that we undo the injustices in our current system.

I’m glad you’re with us for the fights ahead.

In solidarity --

Emi and the PeopleGreater Team

P.S. -- While we know there’s a lot of work ahead of us, this is a moment to celebrate, too. Will you shoot me an email and let me know how you’re celebrating? Is there anything you’re looking forward to in the coming months? How do you plan to keep fighting back to create a democracy that works for all? Reply back with a note, story, photo, or video -- I want to hear from you!
