Thanks to patriots like you, I was solidly reelected on November 3 2020, to represent West Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District in Congress.
This is both an honor and a privilege and I look forward to working together with you to protect our values and bring prosperity to our region.
This election secured our largest victory yet, with a total of 63% of the vote. We won every county, including for the first time my largest county, Kanawha.
Four years ago I was reelected with only 54%. Since I was first elected in 2014, my margins in several of the 17 counties I represent increased by over 30 percentage points. The hard work by my team on the ground and supporters like you, really paid off.
The significant improvement our campaign has made since I was first elected reassures me the people of West Virginia want me to fight for our great country.
On Election Day the American people clearly said no to socialism and the radical liberal policies of the far-left. The blue wave anticipated by the media never actualized. Instead Republicans gained 6 seats so far in the House of Representatives and could potentially gain another five, once results are finalized.
Thanks to the support of President Trump, West Virginia remains firmly red. In fact, every statewide elected official is now a Republican and Republicans have supermajorities in the State House and Senate.
