Fund our efforts to move our officials to support Palestinian rights!

Dear Supporter,

Now that almost all of the presidential votes have been counted and nearly all of the congressional races have been called, we are gearing up for an unprecedented push to engage newly-elected officials and educate them about Palestinian rights.

We’ll be reaching out to first-term Members of Congress with a briefing book and holding customized briefings for them about the policy and legislative issues they’ll be confronting relative to Palestine. We’ll be impressing upon them the importance of taking the Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim-American communities’ perspectives into view as they formulate policy.

While the election results are not yet certified and President Trump has not yet conceded, the Biden campaign has already set up a transition team. We’ll be engaging them with a memorandum on steps that the next president can take immediately to reverse the Trump administration’s damage, along with a pro-active agenda for realizing Palestinian rights. We cannot afford to leave a void that our opponents will fill. That's why we are taking the initiative, and we ask you to help us empower Palestine in the US.

Make a donation today of $50 or more, and we’ll send you a copy of our briefing book and memo to new Members of Congress and the Biden transition team.

The Trump administration took US support for Israel’s oppression to a new level, from supporting annexation to cutting UNRWA funding to moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, to name just a few of the Trump administration’s policies. Under this new administration, we will be working to reverse these policies and root US policy in justice for the Palestinian people.

This election also saw the ranks of progressive Members of Congress expand. We will now have more supporters of Palestinian rights--like Reps.-Elect Cori Bush (D-MO), Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), and Marie Newman (D-IL)--in Congress than ever before. It’s critical that we have the resources to engage these incoming Members of Congress effectively. Are you in?

But, even at this very moment, Israel continues to break international law in its oppression of the Palestinian people. Last week, dozens of people, including 41 children, were made homeless after Israeli forces demolished their homes while the world watched the election results. This unfortunate outcome is not inevitable. There are members in Congress who are speaking out, and AMP is at the front and center of it to hold Israel accountable for these crimes.

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) addresses latest series of home demolitions in a tweet last Friday

Now more than ever, AMP needs your support. Our work is made possible only through generous donations from people across the country who are committed to justice and have always delivered to ensure the Palestinian cause has a strong voice and a prominent organization to advocate for it.

The future will favor Palestine, but that cannot happen without investing in it now. Your contributions allow us to continue taking action toward justice and liberation. We have the potential to make a positive impact on the Palestine issue in the US, and your continuous generous support will help us fulfill this potential.

Best Regards,

Dr. Osama Abuirshaid
Executive Director
