Friend –

Before I dive into today’s update, I first want to pause on this Veterans Day to thank and honor our nation’s incredible servicewomen and men. We are a better, stronger, and more prosperous country because of our veterans, and we are lucky to count many as members of the USGLC community.

Turning to our election update, last week I shared USGLC’s initial take on Election 2020 – a look at what to expect from the 117th Congress. As we reported, we expect an overwhelming bipartisan Congress when it comes to America’s global leadership. If you missed our congressional analysis, you can read it here.

Now on to Part 2.

With the networks calling the presidential race last Saturday, we turn to President-elect Biden’s foreign policy views and preview the lame duck session in Congress this week. With a full inbox of issues on the world stage, the USGLC will have no shortage of work in the months ahead, and as always, we will keep you up to date with what’s happening. More on this soon.

Please watch your email for the details on USGLC’s Tribute Celebration on World AIDS Day - December 1st.  It’s going to be spectacular with some incredible special guests.

Be well,

Liz
