Be part of something big this World Diabetes Day
Be part of something big this World Diabetes Day

This year has been tough for all of us. That’s why, for World Diabetes Day this Saturday, we’re asking our community to show the big difference we can make when we come together to celebrate and support each other. Just one small action from each of us can make a huge difference to the lives of others. We’d love you to get involved, whether that’s by updating your social media profile to help raise awareness, putting a smile on the face of someone you love with a simple message, or sharing a tip that might help a stranger through a difficult day. Head to our website for everything you need to get involved.

100 years of insulin
This week, we're celebrating 100 years of insulin

World Diabetes Day marks the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting who, along with scientists Charles Best, John Macleod and James Collip, went on to discover a treatment that would save the lives of millions of people living with diabetes over the next century: insulin. This week marks 100 years since the start of their incredible journey, which continues to inspire our ongoing commitment to diabetes research.
