To All Those Who Read AFA's Daily Report,
More than a century ago, on this, the 11th day of the 11th month and at the 11th hour, an Armistice took effect, ending World War I. It was in that war that the seeds of our Air Force were planted, and the initial concepts of air power were first put to the test. Through the decades since and the sacrifice of countless millions, our Air Force -- and now our Space Force -- emerged as the most critical, lethal, and effective means to deter our adversaries and, when needed, to fight and win.
On this Veterans Day, let us honor and thank all those who served in the Armed Forces of our great nation -- some 20 million Airman, Space Professionals, Soldiers, Sailors, Coast Guardsmen, and Marines. Whether they served two or 40 years makes no difference: By putting nation before self and the good of the many before the one, they committed to the very highest of our American ideals. Let equally honor those serving today, both at home or abroad, and the families that support them, knowing the
risks their loved ones take for the good of our nation. Our Air Force Association salutes you all!
Your Air Force Association remains absolutely committed to support for our Airmen, Space Professionals and their Families. We need you, now more than ever, to join the fight. Producing the quality news reporting you rely on in your Daily Report is a costly investment for our non-profit Association. Clearly, as a subscriber, you value this service. If you are not a member of our Air Force Association, please take a moment to become a member today. And if you are
a member, and see value in the news we generate, won't you please take a moment on this Veterans Day to make a donation to support this valuable service?
On behalf of our Chairman, the 14th Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Gerald Murray, our Board of Directors, our members, and a grateful nation, thank you for your support.
With sincere appreciation,
Orville Wright
