Dear Friend,

You may know that I've been active for animals in Washington, D.C., for
decades—from opening the city's first spay/neuter clinic to cutting off the sale
of dogs to George Washington University's laboratories to stopping the practice
of cheaply acquiring animals from shelters to be used as junkyard guard dogs and
more during my tenure as the city's first female "poundmaster." All this
occurred on the lead-up to my founding PETA right here in 1980 and then leading
our millions of kind supporters to achieve historic victories for animal rights.

In November, I'll be pounding (get it?) the pavement of our nation's capital on
a 10-mile walking tour of its most monumental sites for animals. Will you help me go the distance and reach my $15,000 PETA Pack personal
fundraising goal?
[[link removed]] I'd be delighted if you could make a generous sponsorship gift today—if you do,
I'll share with you an exclusive video diary of my march. It will be as if
you're with me along the route!

The PETA Pack is a committed community of supporters who fundraise in whatever
way they choose, using exercise or other interests to help animals. My own PETA
Pack fundraising event will be a walk down memory lane: a guided tour of
sites—from the White House to the Supreme Court building and many landmarks and
secret spots in between—where we've made milestone progress for the rights of
all animals, thanks to your help.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has caused cruel bullfights, rodeos, and animal
races to be canceled and initially stopped marathoners in their tracks, if
there's anything that we've learned from this unprecedented year, it's that
nothing slows down PETA, our hardworking staffers, or our fabulous supporters.
And everything that we accomplish is thanks to dedicated members like you.

Please help us keep moving forward for animals by sponsoring my PETA Pack walk
in Washington, D.C.

Thanks for your support and generosity. Let's step out for animals!

Kind regards,

Ingrid E. Newkirk
President

P.S. Joining the PETA Pack is an excellent way to get active and help raise
funds for animals. Check out my page

or hold a personal crochet-a-thon of your own!
