Dear Friend,
Will you join us at an important livestream event, tomorrow (Thursday) at 7 pm ET? Sign up to get a reminder here.
Postal workers have delivered the democratic rights of 65 million people who voted by mail in the largest expression of our popular will in history.
But without action from Congress and the White House, the Postal Service could run out of money due to the COVID crisis. Also, the Postmaster General has threatened to reinstate his crippling slowdown policies just as the holiday season ramps us.
It is up to us to safeguard our jobs and our mission to bind the nation together. We must act now.
Next week, we will hold a day of action for postal workers and our supporters across the country. Tune in to the livestream on Thursday, November 12 at 7 PM ET to find out all about it.
This year, postal workers have safeguarded the country's democratic rights, maintained commerce in a time of pandemic, delivered medicines and essential supplies across the country.
In press conferences and public appreciation events, we will show the strength of support that the Postal Service enjoys from the public as we renew our call to Save the Post Office!
Join us for the livestream launch of our day of action - Celebrate postal workers - Defend the Post Office - sign up to get an alert when we go live.
This fight has never been more important. We hope you will join us.
In Solidarity,
The American Postal Workers. Union
