"Split-roll" attack on Prop. 13 DEFEATED as California voters say "NO!" to Proposition 15
Great news!
Proposition 15, the attack on Proposition 13 that would have raised taxes on California businesses by up to $12 billion, has been rejected by California voters, the Associated Press reported Tuesday evening.
Congratulations to you and all the members of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association who have helped this effort by telling family, friends and neighbors how important it is to protect Prop. 13.
We did it!
We hope the defeat of this long-planned attempt to weaken Prop. 13 will send a strong message to lawmakers and special interests that Californians pay too much in taxes already, and it’s time to stop the tax hikes.
