Our veterans deserve so much more than a single day to commemorate their service, but expressing our gratitude and appreciation today is a good start.
On this Veterans Day, we thank the servicemembers in all branches of our military who have sacrificed so much to defend this country. And a special thank you to the nearly 40,000 veterans and their families who call the Bronx home.
In Congress, I’ll fight to ensure that our veterans get the care and support they deserve, and I look forward to working with President-elect Joe Biden — a man who deeply reveres the bravery and service of our men and women in uniform — on those efforts.
