Dear Actors Fund Friends,

Much like you, we really miss being able to gather together in person
for live performances. There's something indiscernibly exciting
about those moments right before an event begins, as the lights go
down and the audience either grows silent-or erupts into cheers.

However, we're so grateful that the entertainment industry is
nimble, creative and committed to bringing their art to audiences no
matter what. We've enjoyed concerts, Broadway shows, West End
productions, play readings, reunions, and more online productions that
we never could have imagined would be possible. And the fact that so
many of these events have benefited our Emergency Financial Assistance
program helps us make sure this community is stronger than ever when
in-person gatherings are safe once again and return.

Thank you for tuning in, making donations, and helping spread the word
about our events and resources. We couldn't do it without you!
We hope you enjoy these offerings of at home entertainment-and
this week, we even have a chance for you to share your own story
within the performing arts community!

New York based actor Andrew Norlen has decided to document this
unprecedented time into a history book that will live on forever, but
he won't be writing it alone. The theater community will be
writing it, together! We may not be able to gather together in person
yet, but our hopes and our passion have not burnt out. When The Lights
Are Bright Again is an opportunity to share your truth by submitting a
"letter-to-self" to be a part of a self-published coffee
table book to be released on Amazon in early 2021, fully written by
the lights of the theater industry. Once published, 90% of the profits
will benefit The Actors Fund, putting the money directly back into the
theater community.

The book will be BY our industry, FOR our industry, immortalizing our
history.

Don't miss your chance to submit your letter into the book!
