Hey team,

I wanted to take a moment to commemorate Veterans Day, a day we set aside to recognize our brave veterans who have sacrificed so much to defend our freedoms and liberty.

It is so important to remember and honor the values that these former service members embody: patriotism, public service, and sacrifice for the common good.

But Veterans Day isn’t just about this one day. It’s about ensuring that these heroes are taken care of -- Ensuring that they have access to housing, high-quality healthcare, jobs, and a dignified retirement. Because after all that veterans have done for America, this is the least we can do.

So as your representative in Congress, I will continue to keep these men and women top of mind.

Friends, let’s take time today to honor our veterans’ bravery and sacrifice. Then tomorrow, let’s fight for these patriots who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms.
