For more than 200 years, men and women have voluntarily served our country in the U.S. Armed Forces. They fought for our independence, against foreign adversaries and evil ideologies, and to protect our liberties.

Whether in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force or Coast Guard, our brave patriots in uniform have kept this nation safe and free. My dad was one of those patriots – a veteran who showed me the value of hard work and a commitment to the United States.

Today on Veterans Day, I hope you take a moment to remember the sacrifices of the many heroes in our country and thank a veteran for their service.
