Veterans Day is just one opportunity for us to thank our heroes for their service.

Many veterans choose to continue their service by joining the federal government because they understand our country still needs their skills and passion. Over one-third of AFGE's members are veterans themselves, wearing their second uniform in service to the country.

To our veterans, thank you for your service. We are honored to represent you. And to all government workers-- especially those who care for our nation's veterans, thank you for all you do.
