Hey Friend,

Today we honor our veterans. Those who have served our country and whose selfless actions helped to ensure that the American Dream lives on. We owe those who have served our country a great debt, and they deserve so much more than a one day celebration. 

As a country, we need to make sure we are taking care of our veterans by supporting the VA, creating affordable housing, and getting quality healthcare for those who enlist.

Not to mention their families, who deserve just as much thanks. They are the ones emotionally supporting our troops in far-off conflicts. To the mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, spouses, best friends, and everyone in between, we thank you.

That’s why I hope that today, and every day, you’ll stand with me as I thank our veterans for their service to our country and their commitment to keeping us safe. 

To our service members in uniform and their families -- today, and always -- thank you!
