180 days have passed since the U.S. House passed the HEROES Act to provide additional COVID-19 relief to millions of people across the country and what has been Mitch McConnell’s priority in the U.S. Senate? Confirming President Trump’s judicial nominees.
Instead of prioritizing funding and programs that will help keep the nation safe, healthy, and able to feed our families, Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans continue their shameless attempts to shove Donald Trump's federal judicial nominations through as quickly as they can – even after voters made it clear they want nothing more to do with President Trump, including his nominees.
And while over 20 million jobs were lost during the COVID-19 pandemic, only about half of those have been recovered. The loss of jobs has dramatically increased hardship and has left countless families on the brink of hunger and homelessness. Mitch McConnell has ignored the needs of the people for far too long.
We cannot wait any longer for relief.
