Trump knows that having more than 230,000 Americans die from the coronavirus on his watch reflects poorly on him -- which is why he's now trying to convince the public that the number is a fabrication.

In his latest attempt to pull the wool over the eyes of innocent Americans, Trump is claiming that health care professionals and hospitals are exaggerating the number of coronavirus deaths in an attempt to "get more money."

"For Trump," MSNBC notes, "the benefit of the conspiracy theory is obvious: if medical professionals are pulling a scam, the administration's failed response to the coronavirus pandemic doesn't look quite as bad."

We at When Democrats Turn Out REFUSE to let this defeated president smear the reputations of those who've been working around the clock to save our lives. He cannot get away with rewriting the narrative of his willful failures. Please, let us know if you'll stand up for health care workers now:
