One year ago today, they said she would die.
One year ago today, a hospital committee decided a baby girl in Fort Worth would live her last day.
Thankfully, they were wrong.
Today, November 10, marks one year since YOU helped save Baby Tinslee Lewis from an imposed death under the Texas 10-Day Rule. This law would have allowed Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth to pull the plug on Baby Tinslee against her mother’s will with only 10 days' notice.

YOU provided attorneys to fight for Baby Tinslee — but they needed a judge to grant more time. Our team fervently prayed that day during Sunday church services that we would find a judge to protect her.
God immediately answered.
Fort Worth Judge Alex Kim happened to be in Houston that day and agreed to meet with Baby Tinslee's attorneys to hear her case. Praise God, Judge Kim granted a temporary restraining order that blocked the hospital from hastening her death.
A year later, Tinslee is still very much alive, showing the world that HER LIFE MATTERS.
- Baby Tinslee celebrated her first Christmas and her first birthday.
- She has her first teeth.
- Her family has enjoyed precious time with Tinslee that otherwise would have been stolen by the Texas 10-Day Rule.

Her story has even touched the lives of other people. Families of over a dozen patients have called Texas Right to Life for help after hearing Baby Tinslee’s saga and were rescued from the 10-Day Rule.
This is all thanks to YOU!
Baby Tinslee is a miracle.
Despite Tinslee’s many wins in court protecting her life, today, Cook Children’s filed an appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States in yet another attempt to remove the toddler’s life-sustaining treatment.
God uses even the weakest to confound the wise and the strong to build His Kingdom and to protect His creation. The Lewis family’s bravery could not only protect Tinslee, but also could save thousands of Texas patients in the future through this legal challenge of the 10-Day Rule.
Friend, this Saturday, we're honoring the Lewis family and those who saved Baby Tinslee at our 23rd Annual Celebration of Life in Houston.
I want you to put a face to the name, to see firsthand the lives you changed.
Come to the Celebration of Life. Keep fighting for Life!
Baby Tinslee is alive today because of you. Our world is full of darkness, but now is the time to band together, grow in strength, and praise Jesus Christ Our Lord.
