John, we’re not done.

Just one week ago, Cori became the first activist-fighter for Black lives elected to Congress. Now that we’ve had a moment to enjoy that historic victory, it’s time to get to work.

Tackling the systemic challenges that Black and brown folks face, challenges that working people face, challenges that struggling families face, is not something that’s going to happen overnight. That’s why we can’t waste any time in building the democracy that we deserve.

We’re asking you to make an investment. The type of deep organizing work, of community building, requires a powerful movement. And we are constantly under attack by the far right and corporate interests. Will you make a contribution to help us start off strong? [[link removed]]

We’re already seeing some people attacking progressives – for standing up against police brutality, for fighting to get every single person access to medical care, and for trying to save our planet. As we get closer to January, those attacks are only going to escalate.

But they’re not going to deter us. As long as people are suffering, we’re not going to back down from the solutions that will alleviate that harm just because some other folks are too scared to fight for working people. Together, we’re going to build a movement capable of changing what’s politically possible.

That’s a tall order, but we didn’t make it here by thinking small. It’s gonna take a little bit of work from a whole bunch of people to make this happen. Will you donate to help us build a progressive future? [[link removed]]

More soon,

Team Cori
