You may have noticed some futile and, frankly, pathetic attempts to overturn last week’s presidential election in court. It’s no surprise that Donald Trump thinks he's too good for yet another bedrock American tradition — respecting the will of the people and ensuring a peaceful, orderly transfer of power.

 

But this is about more than the undemocratic actions of one man. It's also about systematic efforts to undermine our democracy, and it's about Republican enabling through it all.

 

Days after the results have been announced, the Trump administration is still refusing the Biden-Harris transition team much-needed funding and access to agencies that every incoming administration is afforded.
