PETITION: Demand the GSA begins President-elect Biden's transition >>
Last Tuesday, more than 150 million Americans made their voice heard and elected Joe Biden as President of the United States. This weekend, the election was finally called for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Since then, their lead has continued to grow as votes are still being counted all across the country.
Despite this decisive victory, the Trump appointed General Services Administration (GSA) is refusing to begin the Biden transition.
Gerry and his colleagues are demanding that the GSA fulfills its legal duties of aiding in the transition of the new administration. Will you join him?

Friends --
Joe Biden faces more difficult conditions than any incoming President since Franklin Roosevelt. He needs to structure his administration before being sworn in on January 20th. But an obscure Trump appointee is blocking him from starting. GSA Admin Emily Murphy has yet to cooperate with the President and Vice President-elect as they begin their transition. The Administrator plays a critical role in the peaceful transfer of power and ensuring vital government services are not disrupted. This is all the more important amid a deadly pandemic. We must demand that the GSA follow federal law and assist this new administration, as it has been doing for decades.
Gerry and his colleagues are demanding answers as to why the GSA is failing to assist the new administration, and is going along with Trump and his attempts to hijack this election and our democracy. Will you sign on and join them?
We fought too hard for this victory to be delayed by an individual sworn to protect our constitution and our democracy. Whether you voted for Joe Biden or not, he will be our President on January 20th. We need to ensure he has everything in place to run this country. Will you join Gerry and protect the critical foundation of our democracy that is a peaceful transition of power?
