Good afternoon, IRC Democrats! One week after the elections, let’s take a look at some election statistics.
- In 2016, 60.77% of IRC voters voted for Trump; In 2020, 60.28 % voted for Trump—decrease of about .5%
- In 2016, 36.30% of IRC voters voted for Clinton, In 2020, 38.72% of IRC voters voted for Biden—a significant increase of 2.5%

- 49,598 IRC Republicans voted out of 58,704 which equals 84% of Republicans
- 26,956 IRC Democrats voted out of 34,429 which equals to 78.3%
- 19,875 IRC NPAs voted out of 29,787 which equals 67%
- There were 4 precincts in IRC that Biden won in – Precincts 2, 21, 24, 26
- 2 precincts in IRC were all blue (Biden, Kennedy, Fretwell and Griffiths) 2 (Fellsmere) and 21 (Gifford)
- The majority of Democrats in IRC voted by mail which was the primary goal for our DEC. We increased our Democrats voting by mail by 11,000 voters over 2016.
